Michael Hehn

Michael co-founded Pangea Investors in 2010. Previously he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in the firm's global mid-market private equity fund. Michael has more than 13 years of private equity experience (also with Allianz Capital Partners and HgCapital) and 8 years of management consulting experience (BCG and Accenture). He has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Graz University of Technology and an MBA from Kellogg, Northwestern University. Michael is an Austrian citizen..

Johan Hueffer

Johan co-founded Pangea Investors in 2010. Johan has more than 17 years experience in both private equity and investment banking. He worked at Morgan Stanley in London between 1995 and 2010 where he co-founded the European business of Princes Gate Investors, a $1.6 billion global private equity fund backed by family offices. He has an AB and MBA from Harvard University. Johan is a Dutch citizen.

Dr Joachim Pieper

Joachim has more than 20 years experience in private equity both in an institutional context (HgCapital, DB Private Equity) and as an individual investor in and manager of companies including MEKU (energy systems) and Wikut (plastics). Joachim attended St Gallen and MIT. He is a German citizen.

Martin Ohneberg

Martin has extensive private equity experience focused on Austria and the CEE. He has led buyouts of Austrian auction house Dorotheum and Bulgarian mineral water firm Devin, later sold to Advent. He has also led the acquisition of Austrian automotive supplier Henn. Martin has a masters degree from the University of Business Administration, Vienna. Martin is an Austrian national.

Paul Bijleveld

Paul has more than 25 years experience in investment banking, having led coverage of the Netherlands at both Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital where he focused on M&A advisory, Equity issuance and Debt financing.

He has a Law degree from Leiden University. Paul is a Dutch citizen.

Sunil Hirani

Sunil is a serial entrepreneur having founded Creditex, a credit derivatives trading platform sold in 2008 to ICE, and in 2011 truEx, an interest rate derivative trading platform. Sunil has a particular focus on financial and business services. He holds a BA from Washington University in St Louis and an MBA from Kellogg. Sunil is a US citizen.

Nicholas Ibery

Nicholas has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having held a range of leadership positions in both public and private sector organisations, and advised a number of multinationals corporations, regulators and the UK government. Nicholas is a doctor and a lawyer, his clinical specialty is neurosurgery and legal focus is corporate M&A. Nicholas holds a degree in medicine, with postgraduate surgical training in London and Oxford, and neurosurgical training in London and Cambridge. He also holds a degree in law, corporate LPC and a master’s degree in surgical technology from Imperial College. Nicholas is a British citizen.
